Pilham is a couple of miles north of Corringham. Church of All Saints is Georgian of 1754. It is complete but very small, a funny little building with a small west tower, (partly rebuilt in 1884) a very short nave (only about 21 ft long inside) and an apse which has a Venetian window.
The nave windows are arched of two arched lights with a solid Tympanum, not a very usual design. The communion rail is of the time of the building of the church. Very well worth a visit, often described as Dinky
